Maverick Hotel and Casino by Red Lion Hotels

ALL of the staff were super friendly! The hotel is older but clean. Seems like they are slowly trying to clean up or remodel the hotel. The pool looks like it hasn't been open in a very long time. The attached casino is very small but has a lot of the newer slots. There's also table games and video poker, video blackjack and video roulette.

My family always travels and our stop is always Elko. We used to stay at another hotel but it has run down now so we decided to try Mavrick. Cant say enough about this hotel. Very large rooms. I love how it provides the vanity and a bathroom. Beds were so comfortable my family didnt want to get up in the morning. I love how it offers shampoo and body wash despensors in the shower. Overall we will definitely come back

I drove my son to school from Las Vegas to Carlin and I booked a room overnight to wait out the snow storm which I drove home the next day. The room was nice quiet and clean. The staff was nice and professional. Thank you

Just so everyone knows, the hotel can’t take cash at night so make sure you have credit or debit card option for the room which is obvious, I just happen to have cash with me on this trip mostly. The front desk lady or manager Jessica, she was amazing. She saw what predicament I was in and we tried to fix it whichever way we could and she was able to make it work out. She was very kind and understanding and so sweet. That really made my trip extra nice and special knowing I was surrounded by nice humans. The hotel and casino itself I’m not much of a gambler so it was just the hotel I stayed in, very clean rooms and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet, temperature was perfect everything was great I give this place 100% And would absolutely stay there again when I visit Elko.

Clean and large family suit with 3 queen beds and a separate room inside the room. The beds were very comfortable which I was surprised with. Clean,comfy and safe for a nights stay while on the road. We were very pleasantly surprised with the comfort and price for the big room!
